Founder & Director
Our Director
With over 15 years in early childhood education and a Master's degree in Child Development, our founder established Leon Development Center to bring professional-grade developmental care to West Jordan families. She holds a Utah State Child Care Director license and oversees all curriculum, staff training, and family engagement programs.
Her philosophy: every child deserves an environment where they are known, challenged, and celebrated.

Ms. Patricia Lane
12 years in childcare administration. Manages daily operations, family communications, and staff scheduling. CDA certified.
Lead Teacher — Infant Room
Ms. Danielle Torres
Specialized in infant and early toddler development. 8 years experience. CPR certified and Utah ECE credentialed.
Lead Teacher — Toddler Room
Ms. Amanda Richards
Brings creativity and patience to toddler development. Certified in positive behavior support and early language development.
Preschool Coordinator
Ms. Karen Osei
Former kindergarten teacher with 10 years in public education. Now leads our kindergarten-readiness curriculum and STEM initiatives.
Transportation Coordinator
Mr. James Mitchell
7 years of safe driving with zero incidents. Manages all routes, vehicle maintenance, and driver onboarding. CDL licensed.
School Age Program Lead
Ms. Tanya Holbrook
Runs our before/after school and summer programs. Passionate about project-based learning and student enrichment activities.
